About this album
When working on the first EP, i already had an album title of the follow up in mind - even not
knowing if this would happen or not. Now, almost a year later the vision has
come to life after all. With a more symphonic soundsphere (to do justice to the album title), the
different stories of life and death have been brought to life.
Thematically, the graveyard runs like a thread through the album - Viewed from different angles.
Inspired by loss and personal experiences over the past few years those songs emerged from the
inner struggle of life's sweet and bitterness.
Desperate souls are on their path to extinction, based on the lessons of their past, to find their
peace in afterlife. No matter how you look at it, in the end no one can outrun the reaper's
judgement.

The end of life so near, to find peace in all their fear

Hearing the calls of people's demise

Cannot be outrun, so many have tried

Horror to go out, wanted to stay
I felt alone all the time
Friends around me were shadows of my mind
Tried to fit into what was given
Didn't play a role in other people's lives
Never tried to attract too much attention
Never stood up to shout out my position
Hiding from what life wanted to teach
One alone is too weak
All against one, that's how it is
All against one is for weak minds
When not fit in cliché, all broke down
People's cruelty, all to me was shown
Building up my dream realm
I am the king, others are my servants
In my dream they were killed like monsters
In my dream i was the hero to all others

All those whishes have never been real
But one had a voice of its own

All those crazy things in my mind
All this blood and people died
Cannot control the actions i take

The dark feels cold, i am alone

The afterlife should be the end

The burden of life is still crushing me
This is not the place i searched for

Nowhere to go as everything is black

Walking there as i deeply breath in
Waking up from this disturbing dream
The misery of life is still where i am in

The afterlife is full of my deepest thoughts
The burden of life is crushing me

Running and running through the night,
Running from men for stealing their pride
I saw a forest so big and wide
Running there to seek and hide
Dark, dull and cold as i enter the ground
deadly silence is rising my fear
The others enter, i hear them cry
Bone crushing noises…
…and then there is silence
Lights on the left, they show me a way
Cannot go back as trees blocking the way
Lights on the right i cannot stay
Have to go deeper into my decay
Lights around, they highlight a way
This one is for me, judgement awaits
At the end of the path a graveyard so wide
I follow the light to a crypt at the side
When the doors opened all by themselves
A stairway appeares lightened by flames of hell
I hear screams and walk along
All those wailings, frightening to the bone
I hear screams of hate and pain
Crying out loud from hells deep domain
…and then there is silence
Lights on the left highlight a throne
A creature sitting there so dark and cold
Lights on the right, guardians of death
Watching people living all their lies
Lights around, they are highlighting me
I am the one they want to see
You have come to be judged
All your life is full of lies as such
Nothing has been real, only stories and dreams
Nothing to hold on in your virtual existance
Not one day you believed in yourself
Only jealous what other people had
Never took control of your own life
You have been a shadow of other people's pride
Now the end has come for you
Missed all the chances live has given you
Nothing left to say, this is our decision
A shadow of yourself is all you have been given
In the end i am singing my song
Screaming as loud as there is no tomorrow
Already a shadow in people's minds
My life's song is blown away by eternal winds
up in the mountains, not easy to reach
listening to the sounds of nature's breath
not knowing what they want to teach
wind is blowing away all my mischief
so near the stars, so far from men
i can breath the clear air in
nothing to hear, only nature's lament
calling for help for it's children absent
drawn on the sky, colors so bright
showing the way through the night
hearing the sounds of children crying
sounds like their souls are dying
a graveyard lost for thousand years
hidden from mens' bloody tears
wars were fought on this sacred ground
souls bound to war's deadly curse
this melody of death is nature's song
can only be heard by those who have proven to be strong
to withstand the dark call
bringing death and pain to us all
hundreds of graves, all falling apart
forgotten souls wandering through the dark
they call for help to get released
to end their wander and find some peace
they fought in wars thousand years ago
kingdoms long gone, only time does know
fought for kings and their arrogance in life
fought for blood with hammer and knife
kings are gone, wars were lost
souls still wander in death's cold frost
no other way to release them all
only blood can send this call
this melody of death is nature's song
can only be heard by those who've proven to be strong
to withstand the dark call
bringing death and pain to us all
i still wander on graveyard's ground
searching for peace and rest as i am bound
i am alone, all are gone
this is my punishment for freeing them all
